PAYMENT OPTIONS
Steps to Wellness Center believes in the value of wellness care for you and your family. Our office participates in some insurance programs. We also accept AUTO ACCIDENT/PERSONAL INJURY CASES.
For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. To learn more about our payment options for chiropractic and wellness care, you can call our office directly.
INSURANCE
Insurance plans that are currently accepted at our office include:
BC/BS, MASSGENERAL(FORMERLY ALLWAYS), HARVARD PILGRIM, and some MASSHEALTH plans, to name a few.
Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. All plans are different and some plans like Medicare/Medicaid (MASSHEALTH)only cover a spinal manipulation (adjustment). Please click on attached links
Medicare Chiropractic covered services https://www.medicare.gov/coverage/chiropractic-services pages.
Medicare and Masshealth doesn't cover other services or tests a chiropractor orders or does in office including manual therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and intersegmental traction etc. These services have an additional out of pocket cost and can range $30-$40 a visit.
Our staff will verify and explain your benefits before treatment as well as any out of pocket cost such as copays and non covered services fees.
We also accept auto accident/personal injury insurances. Massachusetts is a No-Fault state. No payment from the patient is required. All occupants of the vehicle are automatically covered at 100%. We will bill the insurance company directly.
Often pain does not develop immediately after the incident, so seek care as soon as possible. All injuries, including minor muscle strains, are fully covered.
NO INSURANCE
For patients who have little or no insurance coverage:
Initial Evaluation Visit: $125
This is where we meet you. We will take time to listen to your full history, understand what brought you here, do a thorough evaluation and start building a care plan that's tailored to you. Treatment is included in your initial examination fee and can include spinal manipulation and physiotherapies.
Follow Up Visit: $75
Includes spinal manipulation and one physiotherapy
Senior Citizens Discount 65Yrs Older: $60 (Initial Evaluation discount rate of $99)
Includes spinal manipulation/mobilization with 1 physiotherapy.
Student Discount Kids 18yr or younger $50
(Initial Evaluation discount rate of $99)
Includes Spinal manipulation and 1 physiotherapy
Breast Cancer Survivors Discount Rate $60
(Initial Evaluation discount rate of $99)
Includes spinal mobilization and 1 physiotherapy
